Spring Lane - Location Of Ground
The home ground of Lexden Cricket Club is in Spring Lane(north). This can be reached from the A.12 northbound track by taking the exit signed to Colchester A.133 at junction 27.
The long slip road curves back under the A.12 before reaching a large roundabout. The 1st.exit is Spring Lane which is narrow & twisting.
After crossing the River Colne a 90 degree left hand bend is reached. At this point there is a track leading off to the right where a brown sign points towards Cymbeline Meadows Farm Trail. Turn right here but beware of oncoming traffic - this is a blind bend! After about 100 metres the gates to the ground will be seen ahead.
