Website Maintenance
Overview
The Administration side of the website has a variety of sub-sections that allow you to perform administrative procedures on the website. The section called ‘Website Maintenance’ refers to very specific website administration functions related to the physical web server and related services. This should only be required by a high level administrator or the webmaster in the event that the ISP or web services have developed a fault.

Functions
A general description of the functions that can be found under the Website Maintenance section are described below. The list may answer some of your questions without you having to open one of the specific sub-categories and read the detailed explanation.

WEBHOST
The functions related to webhost details can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Webhost’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Help Centre’ section of the Administration side of the website:

The functions are designed to aid the administrator or webmaster in debugging a flaw with the system or to determine the demarcation point of a web service fault. This incorporates full access to the MySQL database and administration functions, access to the PHP server configuration document and a list of the web service server variables.

INTERNET ADMIN
This function is related to internet administration and can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Internet Admin’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Help Centre’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This function displays details pertaining to Internet Service Provider for use when an administrator is required to log into the server root to perform administrative tasks. This function displays the various log in details to gain full access to the web server and allows the transfer of files, modification of the MySQL database settings and creation, amendment and deletion of email addresses.

CHANGE ADMINISTRATOR DETAILS
This function is related to the administrator account and can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Change Administrator Details’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Help Centre’ section of the Administration side of the website:div>

This function displays details pertaining to core administrator account for use in the rare situation when changes to this account are required. This is a default system administrator account that cannot be deleted to reduce the risk is that only accounts that do not have full access to the administration section will be left over. An administrator can however modify the name, from the default of ‘admin, and the password of this account to whichever they choose. This account cannot be reduced to anything lower than ‘Administrator’ and is not displayed on the list of users in the ‘User Management’ section of the administration side to the website for security reasons.
