Overview

The Administration side of the website has a variety of sub-sections that allow you to perform administrative procedures on the website. The section called ‘Manage Data’ refers to the plethora of data that can be input into the website that will be valuable to a user browsing the website. This includes actual information such as the fixtures list for a season or the latest news.

Functions

A general description of the functions that can be found under the Manage Data section are described below. The list may answer some of your questions without you having to open one of the specific sub-categories and read the detailed explanation.

FIXTURES

The fixtures functions can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Fixtures’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Manage Data’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This will present you with a list of specific functions designed to manipulate the fixtures in various ways. The fixtures are a basic list of which dates the matches are on and who is being played.

RESULTS

The results functions can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Results’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Manage Data’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This will present you with a list of specific functions designed to manipulate the results in various ways. The results list shows which team won and gives a summary of the score for each side.

REPORTS

The reports functions can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Season Reports’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Manage Data’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This will present you with a list of specific functions designed to manipulate the reports in various ways. Reports are a text summary of the seasons highlight events and can be updated after each match.

NEWS

The news functions can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Club News’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Manage Data’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This will present you with a list of specific functions designed to manipulate the news in various ways. News items keep the website users up to date on the latest events and progress relating to the club.

IMAGES

The images functions can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Manage Images’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Manage Data’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This will present you with a list of specific functions designed to manipulate the images in various ways. A very specific function for uploading images into a gallery that is associated with a specific news item.

MEMBERS

The members functions can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Committee Members’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Manage Data’ section of the Administration side of the website:

This will present you with a list of specific functions designed to manipulate the members in various ways. The committee members section has a list of the key members of the club and some details about them.
