Overview
The Administration side of the website has a variety of sub-sections that allow you to perform administrative procedures on the website. The section called ‘Help Centre’ refers to the management of help documents that can be found on the website under the ‘Help’ link. The main documents have been added by the webmaster of the website and should not be edited unless certain of both the administrator’s ability to input the HTML code correctly and that the amendment is accurate and correct. New documents can be added under the ‘Updates, Errors, Bugs and Fixes’ section of the Help Centre if the administrator has changed something that users may need to be informed of formally, or in response to a bug report from the forum.
Functions
A general description of the functions that can be found under the Help Centre section are described below. The list may answer some of your questions without you having to open one of the specific sub-categories and read the detailed explanation.
MANAGE CATEGORIES
The function to manage help categories can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Manage Categories’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Help Centre’ section of the Administration side of the website:
![]() This function is designed to manipulate the category list that can be found in the left hand pane of the help Centre. This function enables the administrator to add a new category, rearrange the order in which they are displayed and delete eroneous categories.
MANAGE CATEGORY ITEMS
The function to manage help category items can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Manage Category Items’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Help Centre’ section of the Administration side of the website:
![]() This function is designed to manipulate the help documents that are directly associated with a category item that can be found in the left hand pane of the help Centre. This function enables the administrator to add a new document to the category, modify an existing help item and delete eroneous documents from a category.
MANAGE SUB-CATEGORIES
The function to manage help sub-categories can be accessed by clicking on the link titled ‘Manage Sub-Categories’ or the icon next to it under the ‘Help Centre’ section of the Administration side of the website:
![]() This function is designed to manipulate the sub-category list that can be found, nested under the parent category when selected, in the left hand pane of the help Centre . This function enables the administrator to rearrange the order in which they are displayed but all other functions related to sub-categories need to be performed in the ‘Manage Sub-Category Items’ section.
