Chairman Records His Highest Score
September 25th 2007
alanbatting.jpgLong-serving Lexden Chairman Allan Highfield achieved a personal triumph on Sunday 23rd. September by scoring 128, his career best. Belying his 50+ years Allan batted through almost the entire innings & in the process enabled Lexden to make 271 for 6 - their highest ever score at home. After the match some of the team joined Allan for a celebratory curry at Planet Asia to round off a perfect day.
