Nets
January 11th 2008
Pre-season nets have been arranged for the benefit of those who like to practice, and hopefully improve, their skills before the serious business begins in May. Eddie has organised some on alternate Sunday afternoons which might suit those who find it difficult to attend in the evening – the first is this weekend from 4pm to 6pm at Brightlingsea Sports Centre. There will also be 4 sessions on Tuesday evenings at the University leading up to the start of the season which should help us to hit the ground running, as they say. The bowling machine will be in use there so batsmen can rely on receiving plenty of deliveries to play.
