ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
January 1st 2007
The A.G.M. of Lexden Cricket Club was held on Tuesday 5th.December 2006 at The Crown public house in Lexden Road. There was a good turnout of members & reports were presented on various activities within the Club over the previous year. Most officers were re-elected but 2 changes were made. Anthony Shearman returned to the post of Treasurer after a 2-year break and new member Jeremy Jenkins came straight onto the Committee with 2 roles, Child Welfare Officer and Assistant Social Secretary. Trophies were also presented to the following :- Jon Jones(Batsman & Bowler of the Year) : Jerry Morgan(Clubman of the Year) : Allan Highfield(Champagne Moment, scoring his first century for the Club). The meeting finished at 10.15pm but the evening continued for a few hardy souls who went off for a curry.
