Lexden to launch 2nd.XI
January 1st 2007
Lexden Cricket Club will be running a 2nd.XI in 2007. For the first time in many years the playing strength is such that it is necessary to provide additional fixtures outside the league programme. Up to 10 friendly matches will be arranged, mainly on Saturdays, for members who are unable to gain a regular place in the 1st.XI. These games will also provide opportunities for new players to show what they can do & the 2nd.XI should act as a feeder for the league side.
