Date For Your Diary
March 21st 2007
Sunday 1st.April - no, it's not a joke! Lexden has set aside that day for some pre-season work at the ground in Spring Lane. Tasks will include removing fencing from round the square, erecting practice nets & clearing undergrowth from the boundary edge. We aim to start around 11am & carry on until either the light goes or we get fed up. It is hoped that members will try to come along at some time for a couple of hours or so. This is part of the NatWest Cricket Force weekend which is encouraging communities to take an interest in their local clubs so any non-members who are willing to lend a hand will be most welcome. Tea, coffee & biscuits will be available for the workers & anyone with a long-tined rake is asked to bring it along. See you there!
