| Allan Highfield |
 |
Name: Allan Highfield
Role: Chairman
Position: Right hand bat, right arm off spin bowler
Comment: Allan joined Lexden in 1973 and has served on the Committee in different capacities since 1980. He was Social Secretary for a number of years and initiated the annual Lexden Golf Day which ran for 25 years. He was Fixture Secretary for over 20 years before stepping down in 2005 and has been Chairman since 1994. 2006 was a special year for Allan as he scored his first century for Lexden and played a leading role as opening batsman in winning the Club's first ever divisional championship. In 2007 he made his highest ever score(128)on the way to being voted Lexden's Batsman of the Year.

| Anthony Shearman |
 |
Name: Anthony Shearman
Role: Treasurer
Position: Right hand bat, occasional right arm bowler
Comment: Anthony joined Lexden in 1991 having previously been with Boxted. He was Treasurer for many years and after a short break has returned to that role. He was the most successful captain in Lexden's history securing 4 promotions. He also holds the record for the second-best bowling analysis for the Club of 8 for 49(2003 v Tendring), much to the disgust of his team-mates! His trademark shot is the 'swivel' of which he claims to be the pioneer, although others have yet to follow his trail. For 2009 Anthony took on an additional role as Captain of the friendlies side but unfortunately due to lack of players this venture has been temporarily suspended.

| Ed Vandermark |
 |
Name: Ed Vandermark
Role: Fixtures Secretary
Position: Right arm seam bowler, right hand bat
Comment: Ed joined Lexden in 2002 at the age of 23 and worked his way into the side after only playing non league cricket previously. He has since taken on responsibility in the club becoming social secretary in 2005, and eventually taking on the role of club secretary in 2007. Now in 2011 he has stepped down as club secretary due to work commitments, but continues to be the clubs fixture secretary.

| Jeremy Jenkins |
 |
Name: Jeremy Jenkins
Role: Child Welfare Officer
Position: Right arm medium pace bowler, right hand bat
Comment: Jeremy joined Lexden for the 2006 season having not played cricket for the previous 20 years. Not surprisingly his bowling was distinctly rusty but he practised hard throughout the winter at indoor nets. As a result he had an immediate impact, taking 15 wickets at 23.40 in Lexden's championship-winning side. He then joined the Committee for 2007 by taking on the roles of Child Welfare Officer and Assistant Social Secretary before becoming Social Secretary in his own right for 2008. Having given it his best shot for 3 years he handed over to his deputy as Social Secretary at the start of 2011.

| Jerry Morgan |
 |
Name: Jerry Morgan
Role: Club Secretary & Groundsman
Position: Right hand bat, reserve wicket keeper
Comment: Jerry joined Lexden in 1979 and soon afterwards was persuaded to becone Treasurer. He held that position for many years before relinquishing it, only to become Club Secretary. He performed that role until 2004 and in 2005 was elected Vice-Chairman. In 1996 he started carrying out minor work on the square at Spring Lane, gradually taking on more & more until by 2000 he had become the groundsman. He still carries out those duties and has overseen the square's progression from one of the worst in the district to one of the best. The pavilion was destroyed by arson in 2004 & Jerry played a leading role in having a new one built, including designing it. When the Club decided to start up a friendlies side for the 2007 season Jerry became it's first Captain, stepping down after 2 years. In 2011 he took on the Club Secretary role again, relinquishing his position as Vice Chairman at the same time. In addition he has for many years composed the match reports & since 2006 has maintained the club's website in conjunction with his son Tom, who designed it.

| Jon Jones |
 |
Name: Jon Jones
Role: Club Vice-captain
Position: Left arm fast bowler, right hand bat
Comment: Jon has been an active Lexden player for over 20 years and during this time has made a smooth transition from colts captain to club talisman. As a hard-hitting middle order batsman he times the ball better than anybody, but it is as a left arm opening bowler that the majority of his success has come. His list of individual records is unsurpassed & includes a league record 58 wickets in 1996 at an average of just 6.96. In addition his 539 league runs in 2009 & his 19 sixes in 2006 are the best in the Club's recent years, as is the 8 for 29 he took at Clacton in his record-breaking 1996 season. He also bowls accurate left arm spin, is a fine fielder & has the second-highest number of catches for an outfield player. Jon has been Vice-Captain since 2008 & brings his skills as a master chef to bear at the Club's annual barbecue.

| Neil Morrison |
 |
Name: Neil Morrison
Role: Social Secretary
Position: Wicket keeper, right hand bat
Comment: Neil played evening league cricket from the age of 14 for Williams & Griffin, whom he captained for 3 years. After turning out in friendlies for Lexden during 2007 he joined the following year, taking a catch as sub in his first league appearance. He began as reserve wicket-keeper & subsequently took on the role full time. As a free-scoring batsman he has produced several memorable innings. Perhaps the most important of these were his 49 not out at Purleigh that helped secure a relegation-saving point and a match-winning 47 not out at Abberton. In 2011 Neil rose to the position of Social Secretary having previously served as the assistant.

| Robin Seller |
 |
Name: Robin Seller
Role: Club Captain & League Representative
Position: Right hand bat
Comment: Robin joined Lexden in 1987 as a colt and progressed through into the senior ranks soon after. Having been a committee member for 13 years, he became Club Secretary in 2004 and began his second stint as Club Captain in 2006. In that season Robin led the Club to the Championship of Division 3 in the PDQ Cars North Essex Cricket League. Pressure of work forced him to stand down as Secretary for 2008 although he continues to be the Club's league representative.
